"For a long time, I felt that the world wasn’t ready for a R&B artist like me. Once my fans found my EP online, they wanted more – they empowered me to do what I love most, I’m ready now.”- Shae Nycole.

The most powerful stories are real. They’re the sagas that we grasp on to, learn from, and live with. Shae Nycole tells her story in all its unfiltered, unabridged, and unrestrained glory through her music.

Soulful singer/songwriter/actress and Lake Charles, Louisiana native Shae Nycole is a celebrated R&B recording artist whose debut single ‘Ready’ was independently released in 2015 peaked at #34 on US Urban AC Top 40 Chart and peaked at #3 on the Indie Urban AC Charts. Shae explains that Ready, is named for being ready to live fearlessly and love unapologetically, is about turning vulnerability into the power to fuel your own personal evolution.  The rising star lays her sweet and soulful voice over timeless melodies to give fans the experience of love’s ecstasy, rejection, and creating memories of dancing and singing along with the ones you love most.

“I’m ready for the world to get to know Shae.  I’m letting go of the negative thoughts to connect with my fans

and they can see that.” -Shae Nycole.

Shae teamed up with critically-acclaimed Grammy, Emmy, and Dove award-winning producers to create her debut album, Ready and also had a second single released in late 2015 along with a new Christmas track.  To promote Ready, Shae toured the country headlining the Shae Williams Ready Tour and joining the I Love the Blues Tour 2015 featuring Lenny Williams, Shirley Jones of Jones Girls, J Wonn, Lacee, Chris Ivy, Stoney Murphy, Donna Renae & Dee Sounders.  The rising star was greeted by fans as she traveled from Chicago for the 2015 Black Women’s Expo to Las Vegas and from Los Angeles to Beaumont, Texas.  From the West Coast to Louisiana, Virginia, Alabama, and Mississippi– audiences sold out shows as Shae’s first single climbed the AC Urban charts! Guests who experience her live performances will hear the gospel influence in Shae’s soulful delivery as well as the pitch-perfect notes as suit of an academic classical background.  Shae credits childhood choir director, Gladys McKnight, for exposing the eager talent to trailblazing female artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and CeCe Winans. These legends influenced Shae’s desire to be a champion of confident, sexy and always classy women.   Shae combined her gospel roots, classical training and sultry charm to mesmerize audiences in Music City’s competitive R&B circuit.

Now, at a time when some are questioning the viability of the genre of R&B music, it’s finally time for this multi-talent to take her deserved place in the spotlight. Ever since she was a young girl, Shae dreamed of being a singer, songwriter, producer and television star.

With no stranger to acting, BET featured playwright, Alvin Moore was so impressed with her alluring stage presence that he quickly casted her in his production “A Mother’s Prayer” where she was seen by award winning playwright, Garret Davis.

Davis placed Shae in “If Loving You is Wrong”, the hit plays based Harper Collins’ bestselling author Nina Foxx’s book “Marrying Up”, “The Lord Will Make a Way”, “Forget Me Not”, and “Mamas Girls”.

She has been cast alongside key urban theater actors such as Garrett Jenkins (Little G of Silk), Calvin Richardson, Scott Sable (American Idol), Keith Floyd (After 7) and Ann Nesby. Most recently Shae was casted in the play “Before You Say I Do” starring opposite of actor Leon, comedian Rodney Perry and the legendary Regina Belle.

When Shae is not performing a drama or getting audiences up on their feet to a Shae original– she can be found in her home town of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  In November 2014, the singer returned home and partnered with Christus St.  Patrick Hospital where she founded the Annual Celebration of Life Cancer Awareness Showcase to raise funds for local cancer support programs.  Shae was awarded with a Key to the City and honored with an official proclamation of Celebration of Life Day in Lake Charles. Everything Shae does is with total conviction, her debut album, charity concerts, and acting performances are no exception.

“All of us hold on to things and find ourselves feeling stuck but you have to go and stay true to yourself.  I'm excited to take this new journey and I'm Ready to embrace my purpose in life!” #Ready -Shae Nycole.

Shae’s voice returned to radio in the Fall of 2016, with new singles, "EFF Love" (A blast to a woman’s personal story about love and moving forward) and ‘Zydeco’ (featuring Boosie Badazz) [A Zydeco/Soul mix of Shae’s love for her hometown, Louisiana, with a touch of Mardi-Gras spiri]. The "Ready" single and last EP was produced by Grammy nominated, Roger Ryan, whose production and performance credits include Whitney Houston, Wynonna Judd, Faith Evans, Oleta Adams and Kirk Franklin.  "EFF Love" was produced by Stridah Von, for Ragnurok Publishing.   "Zydeco" was produced by Pierre Medor for The Medor Music Group, whose production credits include, but not limited to the following: Latice Crawford, Syleena Johnson, French Montana, Nelly, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Brandy, Flo Rida, Carl Thomas, Mary J. Blige, Ciarra, India.Arie, Patti LaBelle and more.

All in all, Shae is a breath of fresh air in a music landscape cluttered with too much artifice, insincerity and half-baked vocalizing. Shae has never followed trends, so don't expect to hear her trying to mimic any. The music is hers and it’s the kind of music you want to take with you on a road trip, to the gym, and to the office. This songbird has authenticity and depth which is what Shae Nycole is all about. Shae plans to release her forthcoming EP this summer with Muse Music Group Label, LLC.

You can always stay connected with Shae on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and her music is available on all streaming services.
